Our client is currently looking for a HR Manager to support a number of sites across the Scotland region based in Aberdeen. This is a new role into the existing HR structure aimed at moving the organisation from a very transactional HR function to a proactive HR function. The ideal candidate will have proven HR experience within a manufacturing environment and will provide valuable HR business partnering to the wider UK team. You will be responsible for the development, implementation and delivery of a people plan together with the wider team and facilitating a number of HR Projects to ensure quality delivery. Responsibilities will include: • Create and deliver a people plan that aligns to the regions business plan. • Be a key member of the Management Team and act as coach/ mentor and advise on people issues, plans and strategies. • Work to implement and embed a HR information system. • Transform HR processes from reactive to proactive nature • Be a key driver within the regional business for system implementation, training and development. • Work with the Management team to deliver the employee engagement survey and design appropriate interventions and action plans to influence employee engagement as appropriate • Drive HR systems reporting and utilise data to embed realistic and measurable KPIs across the board. The ideal HR Manager will have: • Proven experience in a blue collar focussed HR Generalist/HRBP role in a multi-site environment • Experience in a unionised environment • Experience in a manufacturing environment • Ability to influence middle and senior management & can demonstrate professional credibility and communication • Proven experience in tenaciously driving and managing change within business • Can demonstrate the ability to develop creative solutions and new approaches • Can demonstrate attention to detail and good analytical and project management skills • Pro-active, resilient & adaptable This is a fantastic role for someone who wants to make a significant impact in a new role and shape the culture of sites they will work on.
