Overview We are recruiting for a market leading company within the automotive industry in Warrington, Cheshire who are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Electrically Biased Maintenance Technician/Engineer to support the growth on their brand new site. You must be time served electrically, have automotive, plc and robotics experience. Plenty of training will be provided and courses available to enhance your knowledge on their specific equipment and process. All of the machinery is brand new so expect to work within an excellent environment with a great team of dynamic people. The Role Sitting within the assembly department, on shift you will be predominantly working in an autonomous role and responsible for everything in relation to the maintenance of the robotics throughout the final stage of the process. This includes production issues, planned maintenance, breakdowns and issues with quality. Although you will work specifically within the end line assembly department, there will be good communication expected to the paint section and injection moulding section to make sure the production runs smoothly and delivery is hit. Qualifications and Skills Must be time served electrically (ideally 70/30 electrical bias) MUST HAVE automotive experience - non negotiable Ability to work independently effectively and as part of a team Any type of robotic experience i.e abb, fanuc, durr Siemens PLC's for fault finding as a minimum but experience in others are fine Enthusiastic, proactive 'can do' attitude Flexibility for working shifts Experience working in an extremely high pressured environment - you will be at the end of the process What you will get in return For working a 3 shift pattern 6 - 2, 2 - 10, 10 - 6, you will receive a very generous salary of £36k plus overtime opportunity.
