The CRM Support is responsible for managing a portfolio of established clients, to ensure customer satisfaction & retention and to develop additional business opportunities within them, primarily through a formal telephone-based client contact strategy. You will work closely with the CRM manager and may be required to accompany them to face to face visits from time to time. Specific responsibilities; Achieving agreed service targets through a client contact strategy by telephone and e-mail. Providing effective support, advice & service to customers including pricing, problem solving & up-selling. Providing business & administrative support to the appropriate CRM Managers. Updating & maintaining client records held on Uniserve systems for designated client portfolio. Providing clerical support for both the CRM Director & the Key Account Development Manager. Assisting where required on promotional, corporate activities as direct by CRM Management. Ensuring all client records are up to date and accurate at all times. Ensuring all quote requests are responded to within 24 hours of receipt. Applicants must have ; Excellent communication skills both verbal & written. Knowledge of freight markets and operations. High IT Literacy, especially Excel. The ability to work relatively independently. High attention to detail. The ability to handle pressure and good time-management.
