New luxury hotel in Brighton seeks a Banqueting Sous Chef This high end luxury hotel has recently opened in the seaside town of Brighton, and is already receieving 5 reviews from guests. Due to expansion of its conference/event market, there is now a opportunity for a Sous Chef to take over the running of the Banqueting services. Job benefits: Salary up to £28,000 per annum Share of tips Discounted parking Progression opportunity 20 days holiday The Chef should be currently working within a Sous Chef role or higher, and will take on full management of the Banqueting service. When there is no function to cater for, the Chef will work in the restaurant kitchen alongside the rest of the kitchen team. You will be experienced within mass catering, and have managed services up to 130 covers. All food is cooked from scratch, so the ability to cook from raw ingredients for large numbers is essential. You must be able to remain calm under pressure and ensure that every plate served is of the same high standard. Hours: 40 hours per week. Hours will vary depending upon functions, must be fully flexible. This is a great opportunity for a Sous Chef to command their own kitchen and utilise there management skills during busy service.
