Information about Agilent is available at We are currently looking for a enthusiastic, people-oriented Pre Sales LCMS Application Specialist (m/f) to join the Sales Team in UK. You will be a part of a professional team of Engineers and Application Specialists who are responsible of designing solutions for the full portfolio of Agilent's LCMS products, addressing the customer's analytical needs. You will work closely with the Sales Team, Engineers and other Application Specialists to support pre-sale, product applications and customer demonstrations. It is therefore important that you are proactive, communicative and a strong team player. Primarily, you'll work at the Agilent Center of Excellence planning and implementing analytical solutions and workflows. Responsibilities: Demonstrate the latest, state-of-the-art, HPLC/UHPLC-MS (triple quad and Q-TOF) technology in the Agilent Centers of Excellence; Consulting with clients on technical and workflow needs and requirements, and developing capability to create, propose and implement solutions specific to these workflows; Working closely with the local sales team through training sessions and joint client visits to maximize their understanding of, and ability to position products and workflow solutions; Delivery of presentations to individuals and large groups on LC/MS offerings at customer sites, conferences and marketing events; Communicate the results to the Agilent Sales Team and customers by generating application notes and presentations; Support successful implementation of units sold, and instrument placements to ensure customer satisfaction with Agilent products and solutions; Qualifications: Bachelors or Master Degree with Life Science or equivalent; Minimum of 4 years relevant experience, with typically 5 to 8 years; Knowledge of LC and LCMS technology and its day-to-day changes; Commercial acumen; Motivated Self-starter with drive, energy and enthusiasm to succeed in this exciting and challenging role; Excellent presentation, communication and customer facing skills is required; Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills; We offer: Training and development opportunities A commitment to work/life balance Total Compensation Package including medical and dental benefits, retirement programs and more A company with values around innovation and contribution, uncompromising integrity, trust, respect and teamwork, speed, focus, and accountability The diversity of cultural and individual perspectives held by our employees and their commitment to inclusion This job was originally posted as
