Health & Social Care Assessor Location: East of England Are you experienced in Health & Social Care? Do you have specialist experience working with in a residential/nursing or domiciliary setting? Are you looking to train to become an NVQ/QCF Assessor? Are you a qualified Assessor? Our supportive Work-Based Learning team are seeking a self-motivated and people focussed candidate to join our expanding team, covering the- Essex / Suffolk Border / Colchester/ Sudbury and Braintree area This exciting opportunity is field based across the region, open to qualified and non-qualified Assessors and will require frequent travel across various locations to coach learners throughout their qualifications. (You must have use of your own car). This exciting position will allow you to draw upon your experience of the Adult Care/Social Care industry to provide learners in their workplaces with support and training, enabling them to realise their career potential. Desirable requirements are: Functional Skills L(Mathematics, English & ICT) (at Level 2 or above) Supervisory or managerial level experience within the Adult Care Industry (Elderly Care and/or Dementia experience) within a residential care setting. Knowledge of Government funded programmes, funding systems and target completions Successful track record in learner success Essential Requirement: Excellent background in the Health & Social Care industry Ability to demonstrate sector knowledge –Health & Social Care industry, Must have a level 3 Health & Social Care qualification. Must have recently assessed up to level 3 in Health & Social Care. Have proven experience of providing outstanding support for learners. Be flexible and self-motivated with a dedication to student achievement and quality. IT competent with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Full UK Driving Licence/ You must have use of your own Vehicle A DBS (formerly CRB) check prior to commencement of role is required.
