Ok, if I still haven’t scared you away just yet, let’s continue… List of Responsibilities for This Position We operate out of a company-wide customer lifecycle path with proven systems, guidelines and standards, but your ability to carry that into your work (and support evolving it) is what separates "A Players" from just anybody who calls themselves a Project Manager. This is a unique opportunity for a high-performing Project Manager to join a well-established, fast-growing business. Specifically, we're looking for someone who is organised, an effective communicator and can get the job done As a Project Manager, you are the primary liaison between the internal team and the client. Your job is to serve both the client and the company by facilitating the success of ongoing client relationships. You will provide strategic input and come up with creative solutions to meet their goals. As a senior member of the team, you will have leadership and organisational responsibilities helping the team meet goals. ABOUT YOU: You’re organised, forward-thinking, and “love it when a plan comes together” You’re good at overcoming challenges and have a knack for figuring out new ways to do things You think critically and strategically You look at the world around you and see opportunities to improve the design and experience of everything You’re a people person – you’re outgoing, social and comfortable working with all kinds of people and personalities in easy and challenging situations alike You are passionate about creating great experiences for other people You commonly get infected with great ideas and have the ability to see them through You’re a natural leader who has experience driving results within a team Most importantly, you are a person who knows you can work anywhere but chooses to work with us WHAT YOU WILL DO: Be the primary point of communication between the team and the client Provide strategic and creative input to guide the direction of the client Come up with creative solutions to meet client goals Work with our team of Designers and Developers to help design successful outcomes Work with our Scrum Team to help schedule and prioritise client deliverables Make sure that projects/tasks are on schedule/delivered on time Look for and capitalise on opportunities for upsells (increased scope, new projects) Hold the client accountable for their commitments/requirements to the project Keep tabs on project hours/budget Document all meetings and communications Follow up on past due invoices Helps Team to learn from its experience Doing everything possible to ensure delighting customers Guiding the team and organisation on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers Guiding the team on how to get the most out of self-organisation Guiding the team on self-organising to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organisation and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organisation Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment. Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem solving. Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work. Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example OUR REQUIREMENTS: 3-5 years project management experience with a web, marketing or technology company Valid Passport scrum master methodology 3-5 years of experience managing client accounts in a professional services setting Experience leading strategic UX/UI discussions across a broad variety of goal-driven environments (i.e. mobile applications, e-commerce, web applications, complex dashboards, data visualisation systems, etc) a major plus Experience leading a team is a plus In addition Your attitude will be bang on.
