They are a youth social action charity which challenges 18 to 25-year-olds to tackle educational inequality through a year of full-time voluntary service. As mentors, tutors and role models in schools, they support pupils growing up in some of the most disadvantaged communities in the UK. Position: Digital Marketing Manager Location: London Job type: Full-time, permanent Hours: 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday Salary: £30,400 to £34,500 per annum, dependant on experience Benefits: 25 days' annual leave per annum plus bank holidays and 3 Grace days between Christmas and New Year. One additional day of leave per year after two years of employment, capped at a maximum of 28 days. Reporting into the Head of Marketing and Communications, you will take the lead for managing, designing and executing digital marketing strategy and activity to raise our client’s brand profile. You will own the development of an integrated digital strategy, looking at innovative ways to deeply engage their audiences; 18-25 year olds, education sector, business and government. You will work closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager on campaign creation, writing and editing digital communications, SEO and designing web content. You will build strong relationships with colleagues to develop innovative and engaging content, while sharing knowledge to build digital literacy across the organisation. About you: The successful candidate will have the passion and creative flair to both manage and deliver visual marketing communication materials across all media formats. You will possess a real eye for detail, be creatively led, and have the vision to work with the Marketing and Communications team to realise digital marketing ambitions in the future. Knowledge of all things digital including social media, online advertising, SEO, website, video editing along with social media analytics and reporting are essential to the role. You will need to be able to display a track record of outstanding campaign results in terms of social media, content engagement, and email marketing. Ideally, you will have experience of working with and engaging youth and education sectors and experience (directly or otherwise) of working for a charity or not-for-profit organisation. A working knowledge of Wordpress and experience of creating and editing film content are also highly desirable.
