Preetha Sampath is recruiting for a Process Engineer on a permanent basis for a company who provides all of the services required to take a new drug or compound from concept right though to final patient delivery. This includes discovery, research, development and manufacturing. The salary on offer for this position is negotiable and is assessed on a case by case basis. The Process Engineer will be providing engineering support to operations and deliver all maintenance activities at the site to high standards of compliance with all business and regulatory requirements. The focus of the work will be to ensure that processes operate efficiently and safely, and in compliance with cGxP regulation. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for the following: -Providing process engineering support to formulation and development operations. -Supporting the management of the site maintenance programme to ensure that plant and facilities are kept safe and compliant with statutory regulation and company procedures. -Developing, maintaining and improving engineering procedures to execute all Engineering activity in a safe and compliant way. -Managing external engineering service providers. -Developing, maintaining and controlling site engineering documentation, including engineering specifications and drawings. -Managing the introduction of new items or modifications to process, utility and HVAC equipment. -Leading investigative studies on existing plant problems or reviewing alternative design schemes for new process equipment/systems. -Commissioning and validating new and modified equipment and systems. As a Process Engineer, you will have the following Qualifications, Skills and Experience: -Educated to degree level or equivalent in Chemical Engineering. -Demonstrate track record of delivering projects in the pharmaceutical industry or similar heavily regulated manufacturing environment. -Experience of providing process engineering support to drug product formulation and development or commercial drug product manufacturing operations. -Knowledge of maintenance reliability techniques e.g. Six Sigma, RCM FMEA -Proficient in the use of AutoCAD.
