Gap Personnel (operating as an employment business) are recruiting for a permanent part time HR Manager for our client who is a well established online retailer. Position Summary The HR Manager is responsible for providing a full range of HR services throughout the business which include: · Developing HR strategy and best practice. · Implementing HR policies and procedures. · Supporting managers and staff in the organisation with information, advice and support to enable them to meet the organisation’s objectives. Duties & Responsibilities Providing HR advice and support on a wide range of issues including: Employment legislation. HR best practice. Contractual issues. Recruitment and staff planning. Performance management. Training and development. Ensure employee relations are managed appropriately and in line with employment regulations. Review and implement HR policies and procedures. Accurately maintain HR systems and records. .Advise and coach managers in HR policies and practices. Support and drive organisation performance and business strategy. Skills & Experience Required: Experienced HR practitioner with wide-ranging, general HR experience, ideally gained in a fast growing mid-size company. Professional qualification through CIPD (minimum level 3). Experience of staff management and development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written. Good IT skills, notably MS Office products and an ability to adapt to new systems Well organised, and able to multi-task and to meet deadlines whilst being attentive to detail and process. A professional attitude in dealing with confidential and commercially sensitive information. Ability to manage difficult and delicate situations with empathy, warmth and understanding.
