As part of the Business Transformation Team you will work with stakeholders from across the business at pre project and project inception to articulate the business challenges the benefits and high level requirements as part of the business case development process. In addition the role holder will be required to define and document business processes for a variety of operational initiatives. Key role responsibilities Collaborate and communicate with a variety of stakeholders, applying different methodologies to most effectively achieve the desired outcome Define the business problem and primary objectives of new projects. Identify and validate the key business challenges, benefits and requirements Use strong analytical reasoning to understand requirements and transform them into operational application Acquire deep knowledge of existing ways of working and bring efficient and effective changes for better operational performance Contribute to the overall business case by researching and presenting issues including benefits, requirements, cost, options, strengths and weaknesses and the wider implications of implementation Contribute to project plans Key personal capabilities Happy to work in a fast moving, pressured and changing environment and deliver to tight timescales Good time management and prioritisation skills - ability to manage a number of activities concurrently and to drive them to completion Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills Confident presentation skills including a good track record of facilitating workshops with stakeholders at all levels Self-starter with the ability to show initiative and work without supervision Intelligent, ability to ‘think on your feet’ Good team player with a ‘can do’ attitude, willing to share knowledge and help others Adaptable approach to work/analysis applying the appropriate level of detail Excellent influencing and persuasion skills Good time management Passion for Business Analysis Commercially astute Skills, qualifications, expertise and experience Essential: Demonstrable experience in enterprise business change programmes Significant experience in business benefit and process analysis Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group Broad knowledge and demonstrable application of standard analysis tools and methodologies (e.g. SWOT) Experience of process design and improvement Experience of contributing to business cases, including benefit benchmarking and analysis Advanced User of the Microsoft Office suite of Tools including Visio Desirable: Holds a relevant professional body qualification or accreditation (e.g. ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis) Previous experience working on loyalty programme initiatives Benefits Annual salary of up to £55,000 depending on experience Annual Bonus (dependant on Company & Individual Performance) Company Pension Private Health Care Childcare Vouchers Travel Insurance Exciting global travel industry discounts including flights, hotels, international rail, cruises & tour operators After 6 months service, BA Staff concessions New Joiner Avios/Birthday Avios/Thank you Avios Discounted Train fares Shuttle bus to/from Gatwick Airport (and town centre at lunch time) 25 days annual leave, plus 2 days charity leave This job was originally posted as
