Our Client is embarking on a major change programme that will radically transform the way in which the organisation delivers its services with a focus on self-service supported by effective ICT and digital delivery. With a proven record of delivery, you will be leading a team of multi-disciplined Service and Technical Architects, with the responsibility for ICT solutions designed for significant areas of the business and be the professional lead. Using your digital strategy and agile delivery experience to translate complex requirements, the solution delivered will fully exploit the opportunities that Digital Service can provide, as our client transforms the way it provides services. This is a key role within the ICT architectural domains with accountability for the definition of the solutions and service architecture for applications, information and infrastructure as our client transforms the underlying ICT supporting the business. The post holder will work with business areas to understand and shape the requirements and will be accountable for the control of the ICT Blueprints which define the end state architecture, current state and the transition roadmaps. This includes supporting the creation and execution of technology roadmaps that will drive our clients current ICT estate towards cloud technology for strategic systems whilst decommissioning a large proportion of the legacy. Responsibilities include providing strategic advice, guidance, assessment of risks and key constraints to the Technology teams in ensuring that project deliveries remain aligned to the Blueprints and help to realise the roadmap. You will be actively involved in creating and maintaining ICT requirements for procuring ICT and digital services and the selection of 3rd party providers delivering ICT services and working closely with them to provide solutions for the Business.
