Our client a leading Consultancy are currently recruiting for an Audio Visual specialist to join them on a 3 month contract. The AV Specialist will be joining to run, support and maintain the audio visual equipment and processes in meeting rooms suites. Day to day responsibilities are as follows: To provide first class front of house Audio Visual Services to internal and external clients To ensure all meeting room requests requiring audio visual equipment are completed in good time prior to start of meeting Provide training and demonstrations to users as required Provide assistance during client and internal meetings Provide on-site technical and operational assistance for all AV meetings To develop and apply AV equipment maintenance schedules and testing To work closely with reception/room bookings in respect of AV requests To work closely with Support Services over room and AV equipment set-up Organise video and audio conference calls and monitor usage statistics To monitor developments in Audio visual facilities to ensure on going compliance with best practice. Systems knowledge Follow procedures and complete system entry and paperwork accurately. Use and understand company computer systems and software programs. Interact with other staff and outside vendors for equipment. KEY COMPETENCIES Excellent communicator both verbal and written Adaptable to various clients' needs and their AV systems and technologies Generate regular operational reports, data collation and regular documentation duties Equipment configuration Fault diagnosis and rectification Assist with building and maintaining client relationships Develop, adapt and deliver best working practices GENERAL High customer service skills Strong IT skills Ability work on own initiative and be fully autonomous Event space set-up and operation Able to translate complex technical requirements into clear instructions for non-technical users TECHNICAL Broad technical experience that includes (but not limited to) PC Architecture, Citrix, Microsoft 7, MS Office 10 Exposure to tablet and Smartphone devices. Experience supporting and maintaining VOIP telephony systems (CISCO); A good understanding of basic data and voice communications networks and systems including ISDN-2, ISDN-30 and leased circuits; Good technical Knowledge of AV systems and the ability to carry out first line maintenance Knowledge of touch screen and control technology Experience in IP/ISDN video conferencing systems This job was originally posted as
