Business process Improvement . Our client , based in Northampton but commutable from Bedford , Milton Keunes and Coventry are embarking on a period of exciting and innovative change. They are a rapidly growing FTSE100 company with a diverse market proposition and customer base. To support this change programme, they are seeking a Business Process Improvement Lead to join their existing programme team. The BPI lead will be responsible for ensuring business processes, data flows, system interactions and customer journeys are designed, documented and communicated to required levels including relevant operational principles, controls, gaps, and clear business measures and metrics. The role … The successful candidate will need to have a blend of a number of skill sets. They require strong experience within process design and will need to understand the as-is processes and vanilla processes within the new systems. You will be expected to derive the to-be processes that will be deployed with the new system as well as determine the mechanisms to develop the to-be processes (vanilla, configure, develop or adjust process to fit system) with the associated impact analysis They will need to determine the performance measures to be rolled out with the new core systems deployment but also identify optimal mechanism, method, process and responsibilities associated with those metrics and how they should be used In coordination with the core system change manager and the relevant workstream lead, the BPI Lead will help define and implement the change management approach and deployment strategy that should be adopted through each part of the business. As part of the deployment strategy, we will be conducting periods of dual running (i.e. where legacy and new systems are run in parallel to compare results). Given the data analysis capabilities of the BPI role, the BPI Lead will be utilised extensively during this period to identify areas of disparity and to perform root cause analysis to identify if the legacy/core system has an error and manage the corrective actions accordingly. It is also likely that we will employ a strategy of piloting aspects or functions within the system. the BPI Lead will be heavily utilised during these periods to define the measures of success for pilots, track performance accordingly, identify improvements and manage the implementation of those improvements. It would be great if you had… The successful candidate will need to be experienced in the use of BPI in the context of large scale IT system change - covering at least two large/medium scale system changes. An expert in Business Process Improvement, Process Control and Performance Management. Have a passion for customers, teamwork, driving innovation and enabling change through technology. Be able to demonstrate excellent Stakeholder management skills and previous experience providing in depth Requirements definitions. Experience of driving change relating to the processes within their scope on the programme. Experience of acting as a product owner in a multi-million pound IT development.
