Role Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Hospital Contracts Consultant to be based in Eastleigh. Working within Aviva Global Health your role will be to manage the contractual and operational elements of specific hospital relationships to support UKH's business objectives. You'll ensure that the relationships are effectively managed so that Aviva Global Health is viewed as a serious player in the healthcare sector. You'll negotiate and implement favourable trading terms with a portfolio of hospitals, and support the Senior Hospital Relationship Manager in developing and maintaining effective operational relationships. You'll also assist in the delivery of the businesses strategies and identify specific opportunities to improve operational ways of working, and manage relationships with hospital providers in line with UK Health SRM Strategy. Key Responsibilities: Improved and sustainable relationships between Aviva and a portfolio of Hospital Providers Operational management of Hospital Contracts, including proactive management of relationships with the private and NHS Hospital Providers in line with the set of SRM processes and techniques defined as part of the UKH SRM Strategy Ensuring both parties deliver against their obligations as defined in the provisions of the contract. Cost savings delivered with further opportunities identified to ensure that Aviva achieves optimum value for money. Building and maintaining UKH stakeholder map as it pertains to provision of Hospital services Develop understanding of the Private Healthcare supply market to support enable Hospital strategy for UKH Support the development and delivery of improvements to processes and practices related to UKH management of Hospital operations Effective management of internal and external stakeholders in day-to-day and change activities Essential Skills and Experience: Educated to 'A' Level standard.
