Position Title: Business Development Co-Ordinator Location: Birmingham (Solihull) Contract Type: Temporary up until Christmas Pay Rate: Negotiable depending on experience Our client is a an independent firm of designers, planners, engineers, consultants and technical specialist offering a broad range of professional services. They are currently recruiting for a extremely organised individual to join the business development team you will also be working very closely with the graphics and marketing team. Job overall - To help support the development of specific client relationships and the winning of specific opportunities. This includes supporting sales, bidding, marketing and tender interview presentation activities. Essential skills and Knowledge - Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Experience of bid co-ordination Ability to multi-task Ability to prioritise workload Experience of dealing with different levels of organisation Experience of marketing related activities Flexibility from time to time bidding requires working outside core hours Role responsibilities - ?Co-ordinate the completion and submission of pre-qualification questionnaires and tender submissions and help develop CV's, case studies, project lists etc. for bids, proposals and invitations to tender. Assist with co-ordination of client feedback interviews Gather information for the business development plan for sub-region/practice Gathering information regarding clients to inform client relationships management, plans and activities Help support development of relationships with existing and new clients Assist with providing content for sales presentations and collateral Assist with obtaining information for specific client research Assist with providing content and examples for must win bids and other important bids for the sub-region/practice as well as pre-qualification invitations and questionnaires Assist with obtaining information for award entries work closely with marketers in the sub - region/ practice to input on projects as and when required Gather information to develop content for intranet for sub-region/ practice Respond to quires raised within the marketing/ business development discussion forum Assist with obtaining information for registrations with clients, e.g local to the sub-region through portals etc. Assist with obtaining information to help inform specific market research Qualifications required - A-Levels at grade Cor above in related subject Professionally qualified or keen to start CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) If you have the relevant experience and are interested in the role please apply directly or call Sapphire on 0121 634 6030 .
