Our client based near Orpington requires a Contracts Manager to join their team. The role will involve: · Reading, understanding and scrutinising Specifications, Programmes and Drawings. · Preparing contract documents e.g. Method Statements and Risk Assessments. · Meeting with Clients and Consultants. · Carry out site visits and surveys. · Prepare Handover documents. · Manage contract costs and variations including procurement specification. · Managing and working on multiple projects. · Mechanical and electrical design using AutoCAD. Suitable candidates will have the following skills / attributes / experience: · Previous experience of working within an Electrical Contracts Manager position · Fully qualified to recognised level; i.e.HNC or HND (or equivalent) within a relevant discipline. · Pipework design experience · Industry experience of electrical and mechanical installations · Able to run multiple projects of varying sizes and sectors · Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal · A can do attitude · Methodical and organised · Budget management skills · Excellent problem solver IT literate Salary is dependant upon skills and experience.Position comes with company vehicle, phone, laptop and private medical insurance.
