Partnership Executive The Law Society Chancery Lane, London £26,000 - £37,000 (OTE) uncapped per annum What’s in it for you: · Enjoy a varied and highly visible role · Showcase your business development skills · Opportunity to develop your relationship skills across the organisation and externally The role: A newly created role, supporting the Head of Partnerships creating new business opportunities in the form of endorsed partners covering both business and lifestyle partner types. This role will see you take accountability for a new business target and for the ongoing revenue streams of named existing customers through acting as partner/account manager and dealing with renewals and up-sell opportunities as appropriate. You’ll already poses strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly and at a very senior level and will ideally have some knowledge of the legal sector and their requirements, that said what we’re looking for is the right behaviours, someone to pick things up quickly and concisely. We’re looking for someone who can drive existing business and identify opportunities for growth both with existing and new partners. What we’re looking for: · Strong proven business development experience ideally gained in a professional environment · Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and energetic · Sound communication skills with the ability to liaise at a senior level internally and externally · Proven influencing and negotiating skills · Strong reporting skills Essential You will be able to demonstrate the following: · Experience with managing key account relationships encompassing fiscal and business objective · Proven and successful track record in a senior level business development role · Self-starter with high energy and initiative - able to manage up, down and across the organisation · Entrepreneurial, energetic, enthusiastic, customer-focused, highly articulate and able to work in a fast-paced organisation · Strategic, commercial and pragmatic, with drive, enthusiasm and determination · Ability to speak to both tactical and strategic client-side decision makers, demonstrated ability to persuade senior level executives up to board level · Experience with negotiating and managing the sales process through to close · An excellent communicator with strong influencing skills · Financial management experience Desirable · Experience with creating strategic development opportunities within existing relationships · Strong motivator and experienced in influencing other business departments to deliver in partnership with them · A strong understanding of marketing and communications approaches and delivery and the impact on commercial relationships and results · Demonstrable experience of complex client and partner negotiations The Law Society represents solicitors in England and Wales.
