BPL has an exciting opportunity for a Training Facilitator to join one of the key manufacturing departments (ILP) Inspection Labelling and Packaging. BPL is a leading Pharmaceutical Company, which is currently in year 2 of a 5 year investment plan. The site is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and has free parking available to all employees as well as the other available benefits: Performance Related Bonus Pension & Life Assurance Health Services Discounts Scheme 25 days holiday bank holidays The main job purpose of the Trainer is: To provide (OJT) on the job training and support to the Manufacturing department, specifically in (ILP) Inspection Labelling and Packaging function, and other related areas. To coordinate training activities that considers and supports the production environment and shift system. To provide administration and support of the employee Training Folders and update the procedural based training admin system (Excel based). Assist the Training Team with general manufacturing based training activities, annual regulatory training and shutdown training. Key duties and responsibilities will include: Deliver practical training sessions to departmental staff in an engaging and safe manner and providing consistent training across shifts against relevant procedures. Assess staff on their competencies and provide constructive feedback. Assist in the monitoring of training status of departmental staff. Able to identify improvements on current documentation and execute those improvements to ensure better and consistent understanding of written working instructions. Must learn scientific and technical information about the departmental processes and equipment in order to help develop and deliver training material using a variety of formats i.e. videos, presentations, written assessments, hands-on training, etc. To advise the department , Team Leaders and staff on training and development issues, and to provide advice and guidance as necessary to support the implementation of local and business related initiatives. To ensure that the department's Training and Development system/s support the business needs. The successful candidate will have: Experience of training within a GMP environment. A knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety requirements The ability to work well within a team.
