An experienced and ambitious Business Development Manager is needed to join the Litigation and Arbitration team within a top ten global law firm in the heart of London, for a 9 month FTC. The Business Development Manager will work in conjunction with the Senior Marketing & Business Development Manager, Litigation and Arbitration practice partners, sector groups and other members of the team, to develop and implement M&BD plans, in line with their business plans and objectives. This role will involve ensuring a structured approach to: Targeting and client development, pitching, profile raising and marketing campaigns across the industry on an international basis. Requirements include: Strong previous experience of working in a business development role in a legal or similar professional services firm. Educated to degree level Advantageous for the candidate to have an MBA or other relevant post-graduate qualification. Excellent interpersonal and (internal and external) client-facing skills. Able to think broadly and demonstrate a high level of initiative. Commercial and strategic in outlook. Previous line management experience. A team player Strong written and verbal communication skills with an excellent eye for detail. Strong project management skills.
