Grafton Banks Finance is seeing a Part Qualified / Finalist / Newly Qualified Management Accountant to join a growing manufacturing business based in Slough. The purpose of the role is to prepare and interpret the business financial reports and analyses, maintain the standard costing system ensuring it's accuracy and manage the budgeting and forecasting of the financial performance of the business. To be considered for this role you should be an active CIMA / ACCA student (or newly qualified) with a strong background in management accounting ideally within the manufacturing sector. Day to day duties include; Produce timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and yearly management accounts Enhance and develop first class metrics to monitor performance of the business against budget for sales, margins and overheads. Assist in the production of budget and re-forecasts, developing appropriate methods of forecasting of the business that ensure timely delivery of all budgetary information and analyses in line with business strategic plans. Develop, manage and control the monthly forecasting process to ensure timely delivery of all forecast analyses and reports. Review performance with the cost centre managers to enable them to monitor and manage their budgets. Aid the procedure of reviewing and updating the Company's standard costs for material, labour and overhead costs. Coordinate the continual development and enhancement of the financial modules within the Company's computer systems and software. Identify non-value added activities and find cost effective methods to minimise time spent on such activities. Experience of standard costing within a manufacturing environment is an advantage. You must have relevant experience in a similar Management Accountant / Finance Analyst role and have excellent interpersonal skills.
