Our ever expanding aviation company are recruiting for a Senior MRO Executive to join their team. The MRO Senior Executive responsibilities will include the selection and purchase of component repair services from approved suppliers in order to maximise inventory quality and minimise cost. The role will include management of customer and companies component repairs and suppliers ensuring high quality and performance plus the development of successful relationships to maximise business opportunities. The successful candidate needs to be performance driven with good aircraft component knowledge and experience plus strong negotiating ability. Excellent communication skills at all levels are essential. Own transport required due to the rural location. Job spec: Purchase component repair services for the company and Third Party Customer owned inventory Repair administration of aircraft components to aviation industry quality standards and airworthiness regulations Negotiate with suppliers to obtain best price, terms, warranty and service levels Issue and monitor repair orders on approved suppliers on behalf of the company with MRO structure and procedures Support MRO Administration and Executives with daily processing responsibilities Evaluation of workshop reports and repair quotations in accordance with company processes and procedures Identify component condition and modification status and ensure compliance with required standard Expedite and report on open orders to effectively achieve required delivery and service levels Customer & regional account management, including status reporting Ensure customer recharges are processed in accordance with company procedures Approval of invoices in accordance with departmental procedures Provide MRO support to all customers Development of successful supplier, customer and internal relationships Development of business opportunities with suppliers and customers Attend Supplier/Customer meetings including occasional travel to supplier sites, exhibitions and conferences Understand and adhere to Export Control regulations where relevant Assist MRO management team and undertake other duties as required This job was originally posted as
