Senior SSRS Developer - FTC - NHS - Northamptonshire - I am currently working very closely with a Northamptonshire based NHS Organisation on a variety of Fixed Term Contract positions within their rapidly growing IT Division. One of which is an exciting opportunity for a Senior SSRS Developer who will be responsible for developing new SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports and modifying existing reports in line with new EPR modules. This will involve collecting requirements from end users, designing, developing and deploying reports using the Microsoft SQL Server BI stack. You will be accountable for: Assisting in the provision of specialist knowledge on BI development to a range of end users. Assisting in the development and implementation of robust systems for the reporting of both clinical and management information to aid the smooth running of services and performance management. Investigating and developing new methods of reporting using the latest programming and analytical methodologies that are available. Maintaining technical, professional and specialist knowledge -and be competent in the use of a wide range of specialist software packages and programming languages including [but not limited to] Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration Services and SQL Server Analysis Services, Microsoft SharePoint, Performance Point, Excel and Power BI. In order to be considered, you must have: Sound knowledge of RDBMS concepts, database architecture and SQL/T-SQL. Knowledge of Business Intelligence systems and reporting tools. Report writing skills using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).A Microsoft Certification in SQL Server 2008 onwards. A Microsoft Certification in SQL Server 2008 onwards.
