S ales Manager Our client, a market leader in the Water Treatment sector, are currently looking for a Sales manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a home based position focusing on generating new business in existing or new markets and developing lead generation plans and pipeline that deliver new business. Frequent UK based travel will be required. You will be responsible for achieving sales quota and objectives by planning and conducting complex negotiations with new customers and representing the entire range of products and services to customers, while ensuring assigned customers needs and expectations are met by the company. Summary of Responsibilities: · Responsible for meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volume and objectives in assigned areas (product, and/or geography) as defined by management. · Accountable for establishing productive, professional relationships with key personnel in prospective accounts in given area. · Proactively assessing, clarifying, and validating customer needs, identifying sales opportunities within prospective organisations through a deep knowledge of the customers goals from a range of stakeholder perspectives. · Lead the evaluation of all prospects and determining, using agreed criteria, viable opportunities. · Will project manage all prospects and provide input as required to achieve the deadlines and to ensure that all client requirements are met. · Leading on negotiation, practicing a win-win negotiation approach whilst working within agreed parameters and procedures for contractual arrangements. Knowledge, Skills & Other: · Sound knowledge of water technologies materials and contractual matters. · Strong account management and relationship skills · Good communication skills to make competent written and verbal presentations of all products to customers by all communication methods · Track record and evidence of developing good customer relationships, and managing key contacts in major strategic accounts · Customer focused, good listener, good influential skills · Must have full valid UK driving licence · Good IT skills in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint Benefits: · Sales incentive plan (on top of competative salary) · 26 days annual leave subject to an increase with years of service · Pension scheme with Defined Contribution Match from 3 to 10% and Death in Service x 3 of annual salary · Company car This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful business with huge potential for ongoing advancement.
