An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Digital Lead to join a busy and successful NHS client in Central London on a permanent basis. The appointed Digital Lead will be required to deliver solutions across the NHS organisations’ portfolio and align the digital requirements outlined in the Five Year Forward View, national information board and 2020 vision. This will specifically relate to four key areas: · Technological delivery – digital by default · “Big Data” utilisation with all of clinical transformation services · Application development and delivery · Security and governance requirements Main Duties; · Implement digital services where little precedence exists, ensuring understanding by all stakeholders and a clear focus on benefits realisation. · Create a customer-focused mindset and develop annual work programmes so that information outputs and digital system developments are in line with organisational objectives, national and local strategies. · Influence the organisation and partners of strategic, operational and investment decisions through effective presentation of insights and stakeholder needs across all digital requirements spectrum · Make operational partnerships with key stakeholders, through forging positive working relationships · Proactively manage the key risks and issues associated with ensuring appropriate actions are taken to mitigate or respond · Research and develop industry standards, insights policies and procedures and ensure that best practice standards are implemented. Use of NIB, 2020, primary care transformation and local digital road maps guidance · Ensure Sustainable Insights digital services are delivered in a meaningful, timely, relevant, cost effective and quality assured way taking remedial action as appropriate through adjusting plans a realigning resources. · Identify new methods and systems for collecting and working with clinical information to enable added value to commissioning services and pathway working. · Develop the skills of all staff throughout the organisation and their works in obtaining, analysing and presenting information, ensuring accurate activity baselines in support of robust contract monitoring · Ensure that appropriate business process change supports the implementation of new digital solutions. · Manage the digital contribution to the strategic review and the annual cycle of contract monitoring for the organisayion in line with the NHS London commissioning regime by delivering high quality digital solutions across all clinical transformation programmes with outcome measures to ensure the strategic fit of plans. Essential Skills; · Educated to masters level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in health digital transformation · Extensive knowledge of NHS digital services, acquired through post graduate diploma or equivalent experience or training plus further specialist knowledge or experience to master’s level equivalent · Evidence of post qualifying and continuing professional development · Must have an understanding of the background to and aims of current healthcare policy in London and appreciate the implications of this on engagement – NIB and 2020 vision · Should have an appreciation of the relationship between the NHS England London, the Healthy London programme and individual provider and commissioning organisations · Member of relevant professional body Details; · Permanent Opportunity · Central London NHS Organisation · ASAP Start · Band 8b AFC £46,625 - £57,640 Higher Cost Area Supplement (Inner London) This job was originally posted as
