Deputy Manager, Fresh Food High Volume Restaurant, East London Up To £30,000 Bonuses An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy Manager to join an independent fresh food high volume restaurant based in East London. They are now looking for a strong Deputy Manager who has a similar background working in a fast paced fresh food restaurant background who has managed high volume. Job Description As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for: The day to day running of the business Involved in stock control and gross profit margins Managing and inspiring a team of over 40 Experienced in table service Working alongside the General Manager on all day to day and long term plans for the restaurant Staff recruitment Maintaining brand standards Training and development of staff Working under pressure Be able to think on your feet in order to solve problems The Ideal candidate will be: An experienced Deputy Manager with at least two years working in a fresh food casual dining restaurant with volume Able to develop and implement strategies to minimise wastage along with the Head Chef Good understanding of stock control and an understanding of profit and loss accounts Be able to manage large teams Experience in working with fresh food Experience working towards targets Focus on attention to detail Dealing with senior Managers and owners Passionate about quality food and wine Friendly and upbeat personality The ideal candidate will have great organisational skills along with the passion and commitment in driving excellent service to the clientele and a proven track record in a fresh food high volume casual dining restaurant.
