UK wise they are renowned for consulting engineering, contracting, facilities management, infrastructure services and energy management. This is a major player and you will enjoy the resources, organisation and support associated with a market leading group company. This specific division provides outsourcing including performance contracting for diverse range of highways, civils and specialist street lighting services to public & private sector. You’re bound to like The Senior Quantity Surveyor role itself which sit withininfrastructure team within well-established, well-run public sector contract in Kent. The role is both varied and challenging and plays a key commercial role for £Multi-M portfolio of project works. Generally the role includes commercial advice to project teams, measuring highways engineering works, preparing & managing budgets and cost plans, cash flow forecasts, P&L reports, valuations, variations, payments, WIP analysis, preperation and agreement of final accounts, resolving contractual issues/events/claims, procurement of sub-contract packages, plus management of minor/major projects. You will have Construction/Engineering/Highways background or similar, streetlighting / streetworks experience an advantage Ideally degree standard education. Good commercaial and technical knowledge, NEC contracts expertise an advantage. Competent in contract management software. Able to manage cost, quality and continuous improvement in supply chain. Equally importantly you will be organised, have good written and verbal communication skills and be strong in data analysis and risk management.
