Our client a leading Defence Consultancy are looking to recruit a number of Supply Chain Consultants / Professionals to join their established consultancy team. You will work with a variety of client organisations to enhance supply chain and logistics performance through the application of strategic planning, process re-engineering and / or information technology implementation. You will be responsible for helping clients develop the tools, processes and knowledge required to maximise supply chain efficiency and build competitive advantage. Working across a wide range of projects within both the defence and commercial industry sectors project outputs will include: Supply Chain Optimisation Software Development and Selection Strategic Sourcing Logistics Network Design Key Responsibilities: Identify client problems, opportunities and risks Gather and analyse relevant data Conduct client interviews Develop and evaluate alternative strategies, working with clients to implement solutions Identify, define, develop and execute process improvement projects To be successful in these roles candidates should be able to meet the following experience requirements: British Forces Background - Ideally Royal Logistics Corps or within the Naval Supply environment The ability to design and deliver supply chain design solutions using a variety of methodologies Understand key business performance drivers such as on-time delivery, cost, feasibility etc. with the ability to provide solutions to improve these metrics Familiarity with planning, forecasting, inventory management and sourcing Due to the nature of my clients business this role is subject to National Security conditions governed by the MoD.
