Our established client based on the outskirts of Cardiff is looking to recruit for an after sales technical advisor. The role will centre on providing telephone diagnostic services and technical support to customers, service engineers and colleagues in all aspects of the company's wide range of products. The successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with after sales service and product warranty issues for company's UK and overseas customers Key Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service by being helpful, professional and courteous at all times. Support customers and service engineers in the swift resolution of product and system related enquiries to tight time scales and to the satisfaction of the end user. Make accurate diagnosis of technical queries and product faults with the aim of achieving the most appropriate outcome. Manage outcomes through problem resolution, replacement part/product, or service site visit. Support and assist in the training of customers, service engineers or colleagues as the need arises. Where necessary, to attend customer premises and construction sites in a 'trouble-shooting' capacity. Competencies Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Ability to negotiate and influence outcomes Good organisational skills and able to work to deadlines Capable of building relationships and communicating at all levels Appreciation of Electrical/mechanical engineering principles The ideal candidate will need to be flexible to fit in around the operational needs of the business in terms of office hours and when visiting sites.
