AH0709ETS Area Sales Manager / Channel Sales Manager Basic Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 Bonus between 12% to 18% of salary Contributory Pension Scheme Life Insurance & Healthcare Subsistence allowance: £25 per day abroad: paid quarterly Based from my client’s Head Office with 40% international travel - commutable from Dorset, Poole, Salisbury, Yeovil, Christchurch, Eastleigh, Winchester, Dorchester, Southampton, Bournemouth My client is a market leading designer and manufacturer of a range of bespoke engineering solutions. The development of new products and the evolution of existing products are cornerstones of the company's strength and success. With opportunities to expand their network of agents globally, they are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager/Sales Executive who understands how to sell in international markets. An exciting part of this role is the opportunity to visit various European and African countries. The Area Sales Manager/Sales Executive will be meeting with new agents as well as managing current agents in order to expand their ever-growing network. Up to 4 months of a year could be spent away from home with the chance to experience difference countries and new cultures. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Area Sales Manager/Sales Executive with commercial acumen who can use their technical capability to support their customers. Job Responsibilities: The Area Sales Manager/Sales Executive will source and manage new and existing agents in your territory – Europe, Africa and Russia Plan regular sales tours and make sales visits, both alone and in the company of other personnel Support agents through quotation and customer visits, whilst promoting the company’s range of products Participate in trade seminars, conferences, exhibitions etc Provide feedback to the company’s product development department on customer equipment requirements Work from own initiative and experiences to complete tasks with minimal management Reporting to and assisting the Senior Sales Manager with clear and concise reporting of sales activities Area Sales Manager/Sales Executive Criteria: Experience selling internationally, into any of the following: Europe, Africa, Russia, South America. Willing to travel up to 40% of the time to international locations within territory. Comfortable discussing product applications and able to work to tight deadlines.
