A high-energy, creative and fast-growing specialist events company wishes to appoint an equally high-energy and creative Marketing Communications Manager to fulfill our marketing challenges as we grow. Can you 1. deliver a variety of compelling digital and print-based marketing and sales collateral? and 2. engage with and secure speakers for world class seminar programmes held at our events? Would you like to be based in our new Wimbledon office, (adjacent to the train station) and work alongside the event production and sales teams? We are after someone to take on this exciting, multi-faceted role offering high levels of responsibility and creativity. Required Skills & Experience: - A highly developed ability to communicate and present persuasively, both in writing and verbally - A good understanding (or prior experience) of sales processes/techniques and an ability to write sales-focussed content - Flexible in approach, and used to taking the initiative - Organised, with a well-developed attention to detail, able to prioritise and manage multiple projects to tight deadlines. - Ability to deal with designers, sales people and external suppliers - Experience of writing for different media (e.g. web/e-mail/print) Experience of running online marketing campaigns (including e-mail and pay-per-click) a distinct advantage. With the potential for international travel (we are a global company) to five-star resorts (where we host our events), the successful candidate will demonstrate a natural ability to articulate our proposition in a succinct and persuasive manner, both in writing and verbally.
