The role: This is a unique, exciting opportunity to join a niche, market-leading specialist in the Smart Metering space. The Smart Meter Project Manager will deliver projects capable of fulfilling their business case, within the required time, cost, quality and safety constraints and in accordance with best practice project management standards and procedures. The Project Manager will take responsibility for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects. Key Accountabilities The Successful candidate will execute projects applying best management practice skills, techniques and tools which include : Ø Project Initiation Ø Project planning Ø Project execution Ø Project control and project monitoring Ø Project Closure Skills and Experience · Experience of using agile as well as traditional water fall project management techniques · Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills · Strong initiative and drive, self-motivated with an aptitude to work well under pressure and with low supervision · Development of prototypes and proofs of concept · ITIL knowledge · Deep understanding of the Energy Supplier business processes surrounding the Smart Metering roll out. · Project Management experience · Operational Delivery to live services · Deep understanding of industry regulations · Full project life cycle using recognised structured methodologies, including Risk and issue management; able to identify and resolve/mitigate issues and risks Unfortunately we are only able to respond to successful applicants.
