Unique opportunity to join a progressive pharmaceutical service laboratory at an exciting time of expansion As Laboratory Manager you will be leading a team of pharmaceutical analysts, responsible for all day to day operations including, but not exclusive to: · liaising with clients and inputting into proposals · managing resources and allocating workload · ensuring overall regulatory compliance and quality auditing · staff training, recruitment and performance management · providing technical leadership; developing, validating and troubleshooting HPLC methods You will provide a key interface between the senior management and laboratory teams, projecting and reporting on revenues, communicating sponsor study progress in accordance with set budgets and timescales, and providing input in strategic planning. You will also be involved in bespoke projects to support the growth of the organisation such as establishing quality manuals as well as other processes/procedures to increase efficiency and quality within the laboratory. This is a pivotal role within the organisation where you will be afforded a high level of autonomy.
