Position: Senior Demand Planner Location: Slough Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 per annum Job Type: Full Time The company client is a rapidly expanding FMCG organisation who are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Demand Planner for their exciting team based in Slough. The business is seeking someone ambitious, articulate and able to strive under pressure. The successful applicant will manage the forecasting and demand planning process for the Global Market and will be responsible for managing effective product changes. Main duties for this role will cover: Create collaborative and robust demand plans in line with product changes using forecasting, sales figures and promotional information Ensuring sufficient stock levels are maintained to meet customer requirements whilst minimising stock holding costs Maintain excellent working relationships with retail customers and their supply chain teams In conjunction with marketing, ensure all new products are developed to satisfy customer requirements/conformance and successfully integrated into the supply chain and make adjustments to promotional volumes where necessary. Monitor and improve OTIF between the company and the customers - 99% accuracy. Have the confidence to manage suppliers effectively and build relationships Background and competencies required: A strong understanding of FMCG or/and Retail Supply Chain with at least 4 years FMCG demand planning experience. Graduate calibre. SAP or knowledge of supply system Experience of working collaboratively with customers.
