Senior Account Manager - SaaS/IoT/Digital An opportunity exists for a proven Account Manager / Executive to join us and s erve as the primary Hitachi Consulting representative (‘Account Executive’) to one or more Key Accounts, responsible for relationship building, solution selling, delivery oversight and financial management. RESPONSIBILITIES: Define and execute against a Key Account Plan. Use in-depth understanding of Hitachi Consulting’s core service offering and solutions to demonstrate potential opportunities for value-creation within client organisations. Engage appropriate expertise from Hitachi Consulting’s whole Value-Chain in order to pursue and develop opportunities into real client-based sales propositions. Manage all commercial aspects of securing successful engagements. Oversee delivery teams to drive completion of projects on time and on budget while meeting and/or exceeding client expectations. Maintain and develop relationships during and after delivery of projects in order to secure references, repeat business (and account growth) and referrals. Support the development of Hitachi Consulting Intellectual Property (IP) by helping define solutions, solution artefacts and/or points of view based on engagement experience. PERSON SPECIFICATION TRACK RECORD A minimum of 7 or more years of professional services management and/or IT services experience Excellent track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets A proven track record in building long-term client relationships and a strong reference base Experience coaching and developing technical and functional resources SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE Degree-level educated Proven ability to create and maintain high-value, annuity client relationships Proven effective in enlisting support in a networking environment Able to lead, motivate and develop teams Understanding of large systems implementation project lifecycle, from requirements/process analysis, design, configuration, testing, training, change management to system support COMPETENCIES Organisational Leadership Commitment & Collaboration; values the input of colleagues and proactively involves others in decision making in order to take decisions which support the whole organisation Leading with Vision; positions self strongly as the leader, establishes norms for behaviour and takes action to ensure others buy-in to mission, goals etc. Influencing others; able to drive behaviours and results in others at all levels and across the organisation regardless of reporting lines.
