Ingenta are looking for a .NET Software Engineer to join our team of developers, supporting our industry leading systems. We work in a fast-paced, customer-led environment, which gives plenty of opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the software product life cycle. The role is to continue development of the Ingenta Advertising product for both on premise and cloud deployments in Azure, working with the support team on customer queries and bug fixes and working with the product management team on new modules and functions for the product moving forward. A large focus of the role will be to create full documentation for the work requested including testing plans which can be handed to the QA team (both on and off shore) for full testing before being included in the product release. Key responsibilities include: Identify, liaise and document issues reported by customers Provide technical designs and solutions to resolve customer issues identified within the support desk; risk assessment, prototyping/testing, design reviews, verification and validation of approach and producing test, specification, and other design documents Work closely with the Support, Customer Delivery (CD) and Product Management (PM) teams to understand functional and non-functional requirements Record and disseminate technical knowledge gained with colleagues either through regular meetings or more formally in written format Collaborate with the Product Manager to ensure consistency of approach Assist with the deployment of software upgrades, enhancements and fixes that are coordinated with QA, Customer Delivery and Product Management Provide estimates and software development plans that meet the implementation and support needs of our clients. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and be capable of working both on their own and with others in the team.
