We specialise in long and short term flexible staffing solutions for the health care industry. We are currently recruiting for Health Care Assistants in London who are committed to ensuring that all residents are cared for with respect and dignity. To support and encourage residents in everyday activities and promote independence. To provide personal care, such as bathing, feeding, washing, toileting etc. We are looking for Support Workers to work within Supported Living Schemes and Registered Homes for adults with Learning Difficulties and Autism. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years experience within Health and Social Care, ability to record observations and work well within a team. The main role of the Support Worker will be to build relationships with the service user, to maintain and improve their quality of life through regular practical and social support. Staff will need to support each service users with their individual needs, encourage confidence, engagement and promoted independence. Some of the service users have complex needs and will require higher needs of support with their physical care and personal care. The main emphasis throughout all of these services is to enable people to achieve their goals, this means making time to listen to what the clients want, involving them in planing and providing of their service. Much of the work is within a team and will be working within group activities to keep the service users motivated and uplifted. We have various shifts available either long term, short term contracts or adhoc shifts. To be considered for this role candidates must be able to assess, plan and implement. Candidates must have: Extensive experience (1 years Exp). Excellent teamwork skills Genuine interest in working within a caring environment Excellent Verbal and written communication skills Ensuring optimum client care is maintained by managing patient care plans and risk assessments.
