CH3009 Sales Manager (Internal) · Basic between £38,000 to £45,000 Basic · Bonus Scheme · Shares · Life insurance · Pension · Progression opportunities Location – Birmingham Head Office As a market leading global brand within the process & fluid control sector, my client manufactures, designs and develops a wide variety of technical products with applications throughout numerous sectors. Job Responsibilities: To manage the Internal Sales and applications functions – short & long cycle business. · Reporting directly to the Head of Sales & Marketing, you will manage a team of Internal Sales Engineers and Account Managers. · Manage contract review process to ensure all order details are communicated effectively throughout the business. · To ensure that all orders are managed well to ensure accurate product specification, agreed commercial terms and provide the correct technical documentation. · To ensure that all business is in accordance with company policies and procedures. · Measure, analyse and implement measures to improve order interpretation accuracy rate. · Solve commercial, contractual, technical, administration, QA issues arising throughout the duration of the order. · Assist in the forecasting process to ensure reliable and accurate information is available to assist with business planning. · Implement and maintain pricing policy and delivery times for core products. · Work to continuously review and implement improvement opportunities. · Responsible for achieving a budget of around £20/£25 million. The Candidate Criteria: · Experience of working in a similar role within the engineering sector in a leadership role. · Ability to train, lead and develop large teams. · Proven track record of successfully managing teams. · A solid technical / industrial background. · Experience of working with internal and external teams. · Competency with Microsoft Word and Excel is essential. · Effective communicator, comfortable with dealing with customers and colleagues.
