Design & Development Manager We are currently looking to recruit a Design & Development Manager to join our Property & Facilities Department. The role is based in our brand new Head Office in Park Royal. The Role: Reporting into the Property Director, as the Design & Development Manager you will manage the design aspects of projects in progress and when required. You will be expected to work as part of the tender process with bid teams. Manage design teams including CAD Technicians from pre-construction phase all the way to practical completion of a project. Key Responsibilities: Suggest innovative designs and materials to evolve the Wasabi brand. Suggest and create detailed construction for the onsite team. Submit statutory applications Set up standard detail specifications and maintain them. Siite survey and produce working plans. Manage and drive a team. Ensure that any risks are managed within the design. Track the design and liaise with the construction team. Work closely with the design team and ensure plans are changed as and when needed Be commercially aware and work with budgets Ensure information provided to fulfil the demands of the construction team Work to meet tight deadlines. Requirements: Previous experience of at least 3 years as a Design Manager Previous retail experience working with the evolution of the design construction Technical knowledge within shop fitting field. Ability to prioritise multiple projects Creative flair tempered with a pragmatic approach and financial acumen.
