Digital Business Analyst A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Digital Business Analyst to join our team based in Sittingbourne, Kent. About the Role: The Digital Business Analyst will assist and manage data, statistics, sales & marketing reports for our Ecommerce businesses to help maximise sales and profits and ensure website data is correct at all times. Alongside core business metrics, the Digital Business Analyst will assist the digital marketing & sales teams with data preparation for uploads, inventory and database interrogation to help increase site inventory, categories and channels to boost sales. The role will involve heavy data and spreadsheet manipulation, accounts, financial statistics and reporting to various departments and management. Although part of the wider digital team, this role will be the go-to person for all data information or manipulation, therefore a degree of autonomy within this role is required. Your Main Responsibilities: Manage the core product databases for consistency & accuracy. Manage supplier files, data and pricing to ensure best purchasing price and suitable profit. Manipulate and prepare data for uploading to our website(s) for product listings, pricing and inventory updates. Analyse sales trends and figures to identify key area of strength and weakness. Implement change where necessary to improve overall sales. Manipulate data & pricing to achieve set goals and sales. Distribute reports to key personnel on product lines, profit & loss and analytical data. Carry out competitor analysis and market intelligence to aid and inform team marketing decisions. Conduct key monthly price database updates for the group. Report to the Web Business Manager. Any other duties as set to you by other Managers or Directors. About the Person: The candidate we are seeking for this role will have an IT, Accounting or analytical background and be fully experienced in Microsoft Excel with a keen eye for numbers and statistics. Remunerations and Benefits: Up to £25,000 per annum dependant on experience. 20 days holiday per year plus bank holidays (raising by one day per year until you reach 25 days holiday a year.) 3% ER pension.
