Freight Audit Team Leader Business Unit : 4PL Location: Luton Salary: Salary negotiable depending on experience Benefits: Company car scheme, stakeholder pension, annual general bonus and either private healthcare or gym membership (worth up to £450) Start Date: ASAP Duration: Permanent Working Hours: 39 hrs per week Work Pattern: Monday-Friday Igloo 360 is currently recruiting for a Freight Audit Team Leader to work for our client, a large Automotive and Logistics company based in Luton. Our client is a logistics global organization with over 11,200 employees across 38 subsidiaries and over 70 partners in over 100 countries. They have been operating in the UK for over 30 years and offers national and international transport and logistics solutions which cover; Finished Vehicle Logistics, Road Transport, Warehousing, Reusable Packaging and Air, Ocean and Rail Solutions. The 4PL service goes beyond the traditional business of the 3PL logistics provider. It consists of taking care of the coordination between all the stakeholders: the shipper, the end customer and the logistics provider. Designed like a control tower, it requires the strategic, tactical and operational vision that only a global player can provide. Our client’s 4PL proposes their expertise to the automotive industry. 4PL Experts looks after the analysis and design of the transport network, the issuing of invitations to tender and the selection of the 3PL suppliers. Contract negotiation, operational planning, invoicing (control and payment), quality control (supplier audit, reporting), change management and stock management are all part of the solutions that it can provide. The Job You will be required to supervise the Freight Auditors, ensuring that all invoices are received, audited and processed correctly and within the time frame given on 48 hours. You will also perform the following duties; Manage discrepancies on invoices Maintain data in relation to local and international tax Assist the Freight Audit Manager when required Ensure working relationships with 3PL and audit teams Key Competencies To be considered for this position you should possess the follow skills and attributes; 1-2 years experience within a supervisory position Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to perform – VLookups, pivot tables, sort, filter and IF functions Ability to create and run macros (desirable) Analytical mind Ability to work autonomously and self motivated Excellent communication skills Qualifications Required No qualifications are required for this position, however a degree is beneficial If you are interested in this position please apply below or for more information please contact the igloo 360 team.
