3rd Line ICT System Support Specialist (Unified Messaging & Server Infrastructure) Salary: Up to £34,196 per annum Based at Headquarters, Ripley, Derbyshire We are looking for an experienced 3 rd line Engineer predominantly for our Exchange and Skype for Business platforms and to complement our small technical team. You will be responsible for maintaining the existing environments by monitoring system performance, identifying issues, implementing and adhering to relevant best practices. Duties will include optimizing and expanding the current platforms with team members, providing primary and advanced end-user support on key systems, including the latest iterations of Microsoft Exchange and Skype for Business. Experience of administrating a Windows Server infrastructure and a Vmware Virtual environment is needed, along with a willingness to implement new systems and a sound understanding of networking principles. Whilst being technically hands-on, the Engineer must be an advocate of change management and contributing to the production of quality systems documentation. The ability to communicate with end users, team members and Fire Service Management personnel will make this a rewarding opportunity to join a team at an important time for the service as it relocates to their newly built Headquarters, sharing with Derbyshire Police.
