JO28204 Finance Manager York This role represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant to join this international charity based in York city centre. You will take a leading role in managing the finances of the organisation and be a member of the management team. You will be responsible for developing the financial policies and procedures. You will manage the finance department and associated processes, including payroll for UK based staff and financial management of overseas operations. You will be required to lead the budget setting process in line with the Strategic Business Plan and produce accurate and timely management information and analysis to enable budget and performance monitoring. You will also have project accounting and VFM responsibilities and facilitate internal and external audits. You will ideally be qualified but my client will consider those who are qualified by experience and have experience of Sage. You will be expected to demonstrate a high level of integrity, have a positive attitude and a strong belief in the vision and values of the organisation. This role is being offered on a part time basis of 25 hours per week. My client are completely flexible as to when these hours are worked.
