Rolls Royce has a number of exciting opportunities for Inspectors to undertake an initial 12 month temporary assignment based in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire. As an Inspector you will be required to operate both Brown and Sharp and Mitutoyo CMM machines. Programming is not required although a good understanding of MCOSMOS will be beneficial. You will also be required to visually inspect parts to drawing standards, sentencing non-conformance and highlighting any rework. Your role will be an integral part of our manufacturing process and will enable Rolls-Royce to maintain our excellent quality standards. You will have a professional and flexible attitude, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels. You will be self-motivated, with the ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team. You will understand how to maintain a clean and safe environment in the workplace and how to work to set deadlines to achieve performance targets. It is essential that you have an up-to-date working knowledge of health, safety (including COSHH) and environmental procedures Required Skills / Experience / Qualifications Time Served; Indentured Apprenticeship, Advanced Modern Apprenticeship, NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Aeronautical / Mechanical Engineering or very similar. Very proficient in a variety of Inspection techniques. Comfortable interpreting engineering drawings.
