There will be plenty of opportunity to progress for the right candidate. You’ll be an important part in shaping the department as its undergoing significant development. This role would suit an experienced engineer from gas detection or oil & gas industry, or someone wanting to move up from a junior role and take the next step in their career. To apply for the role, you need to have experience in servicing and maintaining instrumentation and other electrical/electronic systems. Full product training will be given. You also need to live commutable to Rotherham. This is an international role and involves worldwide travel often at short notice, an average would be 10-15 per month. It involves supporting all products including gas detection, ECDIS, emissions monitoring, pressure, temp and level monitoring. You’ll be out in the field 70% of the time, when in the office the tasks will vary from helping get kit packed up to supporting R&D projects and everything in between.
