Data Warehouse (DW) Developer - FTC - Northamptonshire - NHS - I am currently working very closely with a Northamptonshire based NHS Organisation on a variety of Fixed Term Contract positions within their rapidly growing IT Division. One of which is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Warehouse Architect who will be responsible for developing the organisation's SQL Server Data Warehouse. This will involve collecting user requirements for reporting, designing databases, tables and packages for efficient extraction, transformation and loading. You will be accountable for: Supporting the successful delivery of an organisation-wide data warehouse for all business critical systems. Installing and configuring new SQL Servers. Configuring and maintaining database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance. Setting up and maintaining database infrastructure for the organisation's BI needs. Support developers with database operations including the development of complex SQL, tuning of DML and the creation of stored procedures. In order to be considered, you must have: Sound knowledge of RDBMS concepts, database architecture and SQL/T-SQL. Extensive experience writing T-SQL and stored procedures and query tuning on high transaction systems. Experience of working with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). A Microsoft Certification in SQL Server 2008 onwards.
