An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Analyst to join our Pricing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate looking to gain experience in a market leading, global organisation. This is a key role, critical to the success of the Sales team, working within a fast paced, high energy Commercial department. Located in the head office of our global organisation you will be responsible for providing cost estimates, pricing recommendations, analysis and sales reports across all products and solutions. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in strategic projects, presenting findings to all levels of the business. Work with the Sales team with pricing information to enable decisions on price points for tender submissions, provide appropriate challenge to ensure that prices are well thought through and maximise value retained in the business Produce cost estimates and pricing sheets across the product and services range Support the Bid team in delivering on time, high quality pricing responses for bids and tenders Work with Product Managers in the development of 'list prices' for components and subsequent analysis of discount levels in different market segments. Ensure optimal product and price levels are selected which will maximize retention of value in the business Work with the factories and procurement team to make costing more accurate within bounds of the standard costing process Analyse historical and market based data to propose price points for tenders that maximises the chance to win the business whilst optimising margin Maintain database of market price points for countries, specifications and volumes Develop simple models to analyse impact of volumes and FX on price points Deliver analysis of actual project costs against budget during project closure reviews Undertake ad hoc project work, reporting results to all levels of the business Pricing Analyst | Pricing | Analyst | Cost Analyst | Data Analyst | Price Analyst Additional Salary Information: 26 Days Holiday, Private Health Care, Competitive Pension Essential Criteria: Analytical ability Strong organisational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Collaborative, with the ability to create long lasting and strong relationships at all levels Highly motivated to succeed Strong mathematical skills Thorough and methodical with excellent attention to detail and accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Office with good Excel skills Desirable Criteria: Creative and able to think 'outside the box' Commercial awareness About Us: We are a market leading solutions based organisation with a unique customer base operating on a global level.
