Your new role As a Facilities Supervisor, you will directly report to the Facilities manager and assist with the supervision of a small team, which consists of hands-on maintenance staff and administrators, focussed on delivering first class customer service to facilitate the jobs of all the employees in the building. You will ensure that the building and its grounds are maintained effectively at all times. You will be working with the Health & Safety team to ensure contractors work safely and will endeavour to continuously improve procedures in place. In the context of this growing business, you will take charge of maintenance projects from a simple lift extension to adding significant floor space. What you'll need to succeed That's why we are looking for an individual, who will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of buildings, ideally backed by a technical, scientific or engineering qualification to be able to manage contractors effectively. You will be customer service focused and possess leadership skills, which will enable you to manage others effectively and have a vision to respond to the changing needs of a growing business. You will possess strong organisation and communication skills and be ambitious to succeed as well as be flexible and happy to muck-in where necessary. The salary will be depending on skills and experience c£25-27,000 per annum plus 23 days of annual leave increasing to 27 after 5 years, family private healthcare, 5% contribution pension scheme, life and critical illness insurance.
