Dematic generates a global business volume of approximately $1.3 billion. WE are now loking to recruit an experienced site engineering team leader for one of our most high profile customer sites. Purpose of the role: Responsible for the delivery of all aspects of the engineering contract within key KPI guidelines managing a team of Multi-skilled Engineers on a shift-shift basis. Key responsibilities: • Hands on leadership of a multi-disciplined engineering team • Delivery of key service elements such as planned preventative maintenance, fault rectification and fault eradication • Ensuring Reactive work, PPM’s and Spares control is carried out using the DMMS • Deliver written and verbal communications at all levels • Drive a structured process of continuous improvement • Fully interact with the customer in day to day activities. • Fully interact with other engineering team leaders to ensure consistency across shifts and best practice is shared • Comply with Health and Safety legislation: o Work within H&S guidelines and processes o Carry out regular H&S audits of processes and equipment • To fully embrace and ensure delivery of key staff processes: o Team and individual attendance o Staff discipline o Staff development • Day to day management of third party contractors to ensure delivery of key service KPI’s • Monitor and maintain pre-agreed SLA’s To be successful in this role you will be a qualified engineer, having ideally served a recognised apprenticeship. You will have a track record of managing teams or looking for a step in to management; managing customer relationships and ideally will have experience within automation / warehouse and logistics This job was originally posted as
