Yolk Recruitment’s Engineering & Technical team are currently working with one of the UK’s leading FMCG manufacturing companies who have an opportunity for a Health and Safety Manager to provide support and implement Health and Safety activities across multiple sites in the business. Role/Responsibilities: As Health and Safety Manager you will have the opportunity to work across multiple sites in a manner that suits you. The role is also a good fit for someone looking to work reduced hours or a 3 or 4 day week. Within this role your responsibilities will include: · Ensuring Health and Safety targets are met within assigned deadlines without the compromise of cost or quality · Ensuring the house keeping standards remain high at all times · Ensuring Quality, Health and Safety and other company policies are followed at all times · Audit and monitor site First Aid control systems and train any new first aiders on group policy · Regularly conduct site safety meetings and record all actions The successful candidate will have specific experience which include: · Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise your work load · Great attention to detail with a professional manner · Well-developed interpersonal skills · Degree qualified in a relevant subject · Experience / working knowledge of environmental monitoring · Ability and flexibility to work across multiple locations · Full UK driving license If you believe that you have the skills and experience for the role – then please get in touch.
